Truck Lettering

Fleet Lettering & DOT Numbers

Cut vinyl lettering, USDOT numbers and fleet markings for commercial trucks and vans. Designed, cut and installed in-house at our Long Island City bay, or on-site at your yard across the five boroughs, Long Island and New Jersey.

Lettering is laid out on a vehicle template, proofed at real size, then cut from cast vinyl on our in-house plotters. Letter heights and placement follow current DOT and NYC requirements, and the same layout is reused across every truck in the fleet.

Process

How we work

Same-day lettering

Most lettering jobs are done in a few hours. If the truck has a short window, we schedule around it.

Mobile installation

We bring the cut vinyl and install at your yard. Proofs are approved and paid remotely, so the truck only stops for the install.

Design and install under one roof

Layout, cutting and installation are handled in-house at the Long Island City bay.

Lettered to regulation

Letter heights, placement and contrast follow current DOT and NYC requirements for commercial vehicles.

Cast vinyl, always

Lettering is cut from 3M and Avery Dennison cast vinyl, not calendared film, so it holds on curved and riveted panels.

DOT Compliance

DOT lettering and regulations

Commercial vehicles are required to show the carrier's legal name, city and state, and USDOT number on both sides, in letters that contrast with the background and read from 50 feet. We keep the current federal and NYC requirements on file and letter to them.
