Full Wraps

A full wrap covers every exterior panel of the truck. Advantages include:

  • •Most design space: every panel carries artwork, so the menu, logo and photos each get room.
  • •Visible from every angle: the brand reads from the front, sides and rear, in traffic and at the curb.
  • •Consistent branding: the truck matches your menus, signboards and business cards.

Partial Wraps

Partial wraps cover roughly a quarter to three quarters of the exterior. They suit a staged budget or a truck whose paint already fits the brand. Advantages include:

  • •Lower material cost: less vinyl and less print time than a full wrap.
  • •Temporary or seasonal branding: a partial wrap can be swapped while a rebrand or a new truck is in progress.
  • •Paint integration: a neutral factory colour can become part of the layout.

Design Guide

What a food truck wrap should include

The elements we build into every food truck layout.

Legible from across the street

High-contrast colour and type sized so the name and menu read at street distance.

Prominent logo

A clear logo on every side, placed where the serving window and awning won't block it.

Clear contact information

Phone number, social handles and a QR code in a plain, readable typeface.

Food photography

High-resolution photos of signature dishes, printed at a scale that holds detail on the panel.

Benefits

Why wrap a food truck

What a wrap does for a mobile food business in NYC.

On-road visibility

A wrapped truck is seen on every route and at every stop, with no recurring media cost.

Recognition at the curb

A consistent wrap is recognized from a block away, before the menu is read.

One brand across every surface

The truck matches the menus, signboards and social profiles, so customers see the same name everywhere.

One-time cost

Compared with paid media, a wrap is a single outlay that keeps working for the life of the vinyl.

Why Us

Why work with NYC Car Wraps

A commercial wrap shop in Long Island City that templates, prints and installs food cart and truck wraps.

Working in NYC

We know the permit windows, serving-hatch layouts and commissary schedules that shape a food truck wrap here.

Design and install under one roof

Our designers build the layout on a template of your truck and hand it straight to the install bay.

Cast vinyl, always laminated

3M and Avery Dennison cast vinyl with UV laminate, applied by 3M and Avery certified installers.

Scoped timelines

We schedule around your service days so the truck is off the road for as little time as possible.

Template, proof, print, install

Every step from the first template to final inspection happens in our Long Island City shop.

Food trucks are routine work

Carts, trucks and trailers wrapped across the five boroughs, templated around windows and vents.

One point of contact

One person runs your job from proof approval to pickup.

Clear scopes

Each quote lists coverage, material and install location, so there are no surprises at pickup.

Vehicles

What we wrap

Carts, trucks, trailers and kiosks, wrapped in our Long Island City bay or on site.

NYC-style food carts

Pushcarts and permit carts. Small panels, signboards and top boxes, usually wrapped in a day.

Food trucks

Step vans and box trucks. Full or partial coverage around the serving window, awning and rear doors.

Food trailers

From small teardrops to large box trailers. Long flat sides suit full-height graphics.

Food kiosks

Fixed and semi-permanent units. Panels wrapped in place or removed and wrapped in the bay.

How pricing works

We quote each job from the vehicle and the artwork, not from a rate card. The scope depends on:

  • •Coverage: full wrap, partial wrap or graphics only.
  • •Vehicle size and panel complexity: rivets, serving windows, awnings and signboards add install time.
  • •Artwork readiness: print-ready files versus design from scratch.
  • •Quantity: one cart or a fleet of trucks.
  • •Install location: our Long Island City bay or mobile install at your commissary.

Let's scope your project.

Send the vehicle list and artwork status; we'll come back with a scope and timeline.
